Why choose a pet sitter over a kennel? 
When your pet stays at home for his care he is left in familiar surroundings, comfortable, kept on the same routine, doesn't experience the anxiety of going to an unfamiliar place, or kept up all night by the noise of a kennel environment.  Pet sitters also provide a bit of home security by bringing in your mail and newspaper, taking out the garbage, rotating lights and blinds so potential burglars don't know you're away.

Why not ask a friend or family member instead of a pet sitter? 
You are putting a lot of burden on your friend or family to care for your pets that may strain your relationship over time, plus with a professional pet sitter it brings peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pet is being cared for by an experienced professional.

Does Fluffs of Luv charge extra for holidays? 
Yes, but a small $2 increase per visit. This fee goes to our pet sitters since they are spending time away from their families.
The following holidays it applies to are: Easter and the day before, Memorial Day and the day before, Independence Day (July 3rd & 4th), Labor Day and the day before, Thanksgiving and the day before, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Does Fluffs of Luv have liability insurance and is Fluffs of Luv bonded? 
Yes, through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Plus, all of our pet sitters are insured and bonded through this company as well.

Does Fluffs of Luv run background checks on all of their pet sitters? 
Yes, everyone even the owners. We feel it is important aspect of our business.

What areas of Charlottte does Fluffs of Luv Service? 
We currently are servicing South Charlotte, Pineville, parts of Matthews, Huntersville, Uptown, Elizabeth, Dilworth, South Park, Ballantyne, Highland Creek & Skybrook areas.

Does Fluffs of Luv charge extra for medicating or multiple pets? 
No, we do not charge extra for multiple pets or for medicating. We do only medicate on Full visits.

Does Fluffs of Luv care for exotic pets? 
Yes, we care for all breeds of Turtles, Tortoises, Birds (ex: African Grey Parrots, Cockateils, Macaw's, Parakeets), Ferrets, Rabbits, Mice, Rats, Bangle Cats, and Fish just to name a few.

Will the pet sitter record notes about your pet during each visit?
Yes, a During Our Visit form will be left and completed at each visit. 

Do you provide emergency services to a local veterinarian?
Yes, if there is an emergency we will take your pet to your preferred vet or ours which is Long Animal Hospital.  Their phone number is 704-523-2996. 

What would happen if the pet sitter experiences car trouble or becomes ill? 
We have a team of trained pet sitters who are able to help us in an emergency situation. Please refer to our sitters page to see the full team and read their bios.

What payment options does Fluffs of Luv offer?  
We take money order, check or credit. For all billing questions please call 704.363.0770. Pay your Bill Online. Follow the link below.  When prompted enter in your invoice total and click update totals.  Log into paypal if you are a member and if not that's ok you can still pay this way. If you aren't a PayPal member look to the left on the screen and it will give you a link to click on to complete your transaction.

How can I help my pet sitter and my pet? 
*  Make reservations with your pet sitter early, especially during holidays
*  Keep your pets collar on with current identification tags
*  Provide clear instructions detailing specific pet-care on the forms Fluffs of Luv will provide to you (the more information the better)
*  Buy extra pet supplies in case you're away longer than planned
*  Leave a key with a trustworthy neighbor as a backup, or well hidden outside but be sure those extra keys work before giving them out.
